Re: Minor GUI annoyance...

At the very beginning. On my first run.
I just installed it on Mint. (which is -i suppose- an Ubuntu "dialect")

Re: First run... cannot create cudnn handle

Thanks.
1) I enabled the "Allow growth option" and now it works.
2) I started with the basic-vanilla-plain original model to have a comparison with my old GTX card (2 gig.) The 2070 is probably 10 times faster...

3 advices: They worked for me.

1) If you can, you should really consider using Linux. I installed MINT on a ridiculously small (250 Gb) Hdd and it is very easy to configure. I am still trying to install the last version of Faceswap on WIN 10... but It keeps on downloading corrupted files and doing any kind of oddities. Running Li...

Re: Error Creating Conda virtual environment.

Interesting... now i have 2 miniconda3 directories...
one in C:\fs\miniconda3
the second in C:\Users\fulvio AMD\miniconda3

Faceswap installer detected the existing miniconda3 installation, but apparently cloned it into the users\fulvio AMD\miniconda3 directory....

I'll let you know how it ends...

Nvidia Studio Driver VS Game Ready Driver

Just wanted to point out something that can be useful I replaced the Game ready driver version with the Studio driver version yesterday and it seems that operations with faceswap are more efficient and stable. If someone has issues with memory allocation or with error 3221225477, this is something t...

Re: DLIGHT Diverged....

Hi... I explained myself poorly. I made a video using DFL h128 and then I RESTARTED from scratch using DLIGHT with the same sets/alignment. DHL 128 was not bad... but I wanted to compare it with something else. Things went well at the beginning... then everything exploded. Just wandering if is there...

DLIGHT Diverged....

Hello.
I tried to change the trainer from DFL-H128 to DLIGHT , but I got this instability. It does not seem to be able to recover.

Re: Exception in Tkinter callback.

Thaknks!
In fact it does not seem to "screw up" anything in the process, and now that you say it... it seems connected to the enabling of the preview window (i forgot to enable it when I started the process....and I enabled it after pausing the program)

Solved for me.

Number of faces and iterations.

Question:
Do you need more iterations to get a quality model if you use a higher number of faces?

Does a 1.000.000 Iterations with 2000 faces give the same result as 1.000.000 with 4000 ?

Just curious...

Re: Flipped face..

I use the manual tool a lot, since faces often get "skewed" especially when there are difficult light conditions. However it is not so intuitive, and also the behaviour when shrinking / enlarging/ moving the selection box is farely difficult to understand. I believe a new tool is under tes...

Re: Flipped face..

Too bad.

I noticed that results on profile faces are below average. .. I Was wandering if it would not be possible to handle this forcing a different recognition (with a different landmark pattern or similar)
Even if this means duplicating the model.

Flipped face on extreme profiles

Occasionally this happens: The face is recognized (apparently) correctly -if I look at the landmarks-... however it is presented (and extracted) upside-down.

is this a glitch ? Does this behaviour have a particular meaning?

(Note: seen only on profile faces so far..)

Hello. My results are improving (even on this toy pee-see): just a couple of question: 1) "White dot" on the iris Any advice on how to make it work? dot.jpg Do I have to use an high end trainer (I am using the DFL-H128) or is it a matter of iterations ? (i have done up to 1.300.000 but it ...
