Alignments for faces at angles

Hi, This may be dumb question / suggestion but...... We know the aligner struggles with side on faces and to a lesser degree faces from above and below (depending on the angle). Is there or could there be way to either: -Highlight these faces (or any misaligned fr that matter) in manual mode and the...

Maunal tool - alignments vs masked area

Hi, When editing masks to cut out anything covering the face, i notice the masked area can overspill the face, so something that isnt a face is masked in red. part of a neck below the chin for example. If the alignment is correctly matching the outline of the face, and chin, in this example, will an...

Re: Manual Tool Crash Report

I narrowed this down to a sequence of editing with IOS software, seemed after some touching up those specific images wouldn't work. Haven't been able to replicate so don't think will be an issue that needs a fix or that will cause problems for anyone else.

Re: Manual Tool Crash Report

Jus to add, this only seems to be an issue for newly extracted data.
The Manual tool works on older (last week) alignments. I can also extract facesets from both old and new alignments, however connot run the Manual tool on the new alignments and source data.

Updating facesets during training now alignments are no longer required

I think I've worked out one of the advantages of the alignments update, after initially being confused when I couldn't find Merge in the Jobs list. Now that alignments are not needed for training and we don't need to merge facesets / alignments, can we now add and remove faces from a paused training...

Manual Tool - Merged Alignment File

Hi, After extracting, sorting, fixing alignments, extracting from the fixed alignment file on seperate videos. Ive merged the alignment files and output pictures. Is it possible to recheck the alignments and masks in the manual tool after this merge? As the manual tool needs to be pointed at the sou...

Re: Fit training - adding data, tweaking settings while training & loss graph

Ok thanks for reply. Very useful to know that changing the settings mid training has no impact, as these are set at the start. And while I understand the loss graph is just an indication of trend and previews are what we need to pay attention to, why did the graph line jumped so clearly after settin...

Fit training - adding data, tweaking settings while training & loss graph

So have read that updating / adding new faces while training is a good idea, and using Fit / Final training is useful. I have done both of these while using Realface. At around 200k iterations of fit training I added some new faces to the existing set by merging in a new aligment. At 300k iterations...

Manual Tool - Alignment landmarks for obsured features

Hi, My first question of How accurate do you need to make any manual changes to alignmnets? Is partly answered by this post https://forum.faceswap.dev/viewtopic.php?p=982#p982 just want to make sure that the "lines" as you say (really, the alignment landmarks) are in roughly the right plac...
