Landmark accuracy
Am I correct to assume that for faces with obstructions, the landmark points “behind” the obstruction are completely irrelevant? This is all assuming that your mask is setup to ignore that area. So I don’t need to bother about setting up the points to represent what the structure of the face looks l...

Re: Masking
I see. I got about 60,000 frames all cleaned and ready to go. It’s why I’m asking all this about masks. My game plan now: I will not train with masks, I’ll just simply filter out any obstructed faces for the training set. For convert, I’ll use the ogg-obstructed and review the frames again to fix th...

...then use the one that works best for your situation. This will depend on your scene What if my scene has frontal open (with and without obstructions) and side profile (with and without obstructions). I am still stuck with picking only one mask? Or does this mean I have to break down my scene int...

Masking
Alright I think I got all the basics down. Now I'm ready to start taking it to the next level of realism. I have a feeling that I should wrap my head around the Masking aspect. I surfed the forums and didn't find much other than what each Masker does. I was wondering if there is a more in-depth tuto...

I agree. Can you help me by initiating it because I don’t know where to post this. I’d be happy to engage in it.

Re: Video Source Consolidation Workflow
So when I start a new pair, I add the weights and select freeze. Is there any point I’ll need to disable freeze? Or will the training handle this intuitively? Also, does this mean that by reusing Model B weights on the next model A’s it will build on top accumulatively? Meaning each time I reuse the...

Re: Video Source Consolidation Workflow
You can save the encoder for reuse, but the decoders work best from scratch.
How would I go about doing that? Is it as simple as providing a h5 in the Load Weights under the Train > Model section?

Re: Video Source Consolidation Workflow
...is WHY are you trying to do it in this way? Yes, it is because I want to perform the extraction process in as few steps a possible. From what I understood, you need to extract every 5-15 frames on videos in order to build your Training Set Portfolio . And then when you are ready to convert, you'...

Video Source Consolidation Workflow
I'm looking to make this process as optimal as possible. I have decided to try the following and I wanted to confirm some presumptions about it before I commit to this. I have a collection of small clips, over 30+. Instead of using each video as an individual source, I will use the video tool to ext...

Re: Manual Alignment Bug?
Yeah, when extracting with N > 1 like that, the first time I open the manual tool I let it load, then immediately close it without doing anything else. Then I open it again. It is always better the second time. Hey it worked! I would like to confirm this for anyone else who might be having issues. ...

Manual Alignment Bug?
Ok. I am not sure if this was intended, a limitation of the program, or a bug. But I will try my best to explain. I have example A that I simply want to extract and train so that I can replace example B with A. From what I understood, all I need to worry about for A is simply to make sure that the a...

Re: Critical error when starting training
Yes sir I am! I have not confused the input frame folder for the output faces folder. Pat on the back for competency 8-) Anyways, I ended up isolating each png that was causing those errors, ended up collecting over 20+ of them in a separate folder and began poking in them to see what I could find. ...

Re: Remove-Faces: update_png_headers IndexError: list index out of range
Thank you for your reply. While I was waiting for it, I decided to go ahead and start over and ended up doing it with the workflow you suggested in your reply. Now works great. I suppose practice can never hurt so I can get the training wheels off asap. I think the following statements are definitel...

Re: Critical error when starting training
I have the latest updated version. I tried to load the Manual Tool to do some fine tuning, and I got the same error on an input image. I removed that image from the directory and tried again, and turns out I have a lot...I can't proceed. What are the header requirements? If you like, I can provide y...

Remove-Faces: update_png_headers IndexError: list index out of range
The following stack is shown after Tool->Alignment->Remove-Face runs. It actually goes through fine, but right after it removes them, it throws this exception. And I check the file and it doesn't persist the changes to the alignment file. 05/07/2021 12:42:52 INFO 13 alignment(s) were removed from al...
