Re: Phaze-A - 256px Demo

i pulled ScaJo set from 21 movies and Emma Stone from 13 movies, all 1080p+ sources. I can't remember how many images... probably more than I needed.

The most important part was that I spent a not inconsiderable amount of time making sure that I had a decent quality training set for each side.

Hasn't been tested, but there is no obvious reason why FS should not run on Windows 11.

Re: Draw transparent jpg

Honestly, sounds like a bug. Not one I will look to fix any time soon though, as it seems to be a "feature" for you.

Ultimately, "draw-transparent" is not compatible with jpegs as that format does not have an alpha channel. The process should not let you do it.

Re: How to improve training?

Everyone's first swap is terrible. Just be prepared for that. However.... graph analysis turned pretty much into a straight line at around 0.02 error for A after 50K iterations Make sure to re-read this section. Graph at default zoom will not give you enough information in later stage training: http...

Hi,

I finally got a successful (or maybe not) installation come out, but when I started extracting or training wih my old sets the following error popped up, and I never encountered it before.

Code: Select all

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'cv2'

Uninstall your global Cuda. It is conflicting with the local version that faceswap installs

Re: GPU RAM Size vs. TFLOPS: which matters more?

bryanlyon will be better able to answer, but I'm not sure TFLOPS is the best measure for ML performance. Either way, speed vs ram size comes down purely to preference. Larger RAM size will enable you to train bigger models. Faster GPUs will enable you to train models quicker. Ultimately it comes do...

Unfortunately not. The backend for AMD uses PlaidML whilst Nvidia uses Tensorflow. These ML implementations are not cross-compatible.

Re: How to remove the padding from the extracted faces

You will only be able to do this by editing the code. I'm not going to go into detail about what you have to do, but will point you in the direction of where you need to look. The code which controls the padding around the face is here: https://github.com/torzdf/faceswap/blob/808e00895d06e804ff64f8f...

Re: Alignments file out of snyc with images

Ok, the only way I'll be able to investigate this is to examine your source data and alignments file. If you can zip them up and provide to me (by PM) then I can investigate. I will only be using this data to fix this bug, I can guarantee it will not be shared.

Re: Alignments file out of snyc with images

Hmmm, ok. That is odd. Do the faces previews look correct?

Ultimately, I think I'm going to need you to zip up your pics and alignments file and provide for me so I can see what's going on here. You are welcome to PM me the link.

Re: Are there any good video tutorials?

We do not have any official videos, as they take time to create (which I do not have) and take even more time to keep up to date. This video will provide an overview, but be aware, it is not endorsed by us and does several things incorrectly, however it can be a decent starting point: https://www.yo...

Re: The extract speed is not improved after upgrading the GPU?

Reinstalling Faceswap is unlikely to make a difference. However AMD really is not well optimizied for ML, so this may just be expected behavior (not ideal, I know, but Nvidia is much better at this stuff)

Are you able to provide a screengrab illustrating your issue (a short screen capture video would be even better)? It's been a long time since I used images as a source, but that really shouldn't matter

No it is not. You may be able to build something similar to that with some of the tools that faceswap uses, but it would take some work.

Re: Should I remove faces in 90°?

These are misaligns. That is, the detector has found a face but the aligner has failed to align it. For training you can just go ahead ad remove the faces. For conversion you will want to use the manual tool to fix these up.

Re: FaceSwap with GPU

The loudness will depend on the GPU/fan profile etc. Using FS should not cause any lasting damage. Machine Learning is GPU intensive. Your GPU is going to be running constantly at maximum when doing any Machine Learning work. There is no real direct way to control this, but you can look at downloadi...
