Re: Gray faces after 200k iterations

I think the issue here is it never isn't grey... which would suggest O/C issues imho.

Re: Speeding up non batch activities

I honestly don't know if thumbnail display will be quicker with an upgrade or not. I do know (in my experience) that Windows tends to display thumbs quicker than linux (or XFCE at least), so it may be easier to just use a different os (if possible) for that part of the process... That is a pretty ol...

Honestly, I don't know, sorry. I don't use GCE/cloud at all.

Re: How to simply swap faces of two images?

Yeah, Faceswap doesn't do this. It can swap a single face, but you would still need highly varied training data, so it isn't the best for it.

There are probably solutions in the AI Discussion sub-forum

Re: unable to view training stats

It happens sometimes. It used to be a lot worse than it is now. Generally I would suggest starting training and waiting for the first save iteration before pressing the graph/analysis tab. to make sure everything is caught up.

Re: Critical error whenever I try to convert - Could not compute output Tensor

I have not seen this before, however, a couple of things... 1) This is not your model folder C:/Users/Registrar/Music/Eya/Video thangs/Model AB/original_logs it's your logs folder. Your model folder is C:/Users/Registrar/Music/Eya/Video thangs/Model AB 2) I notice no GPU is detected. Are you attempt...

Re: faces missing from alignments

No idea. Never heard of this happening. My immediate suspicion would be "user error", so please treble check everything. If you are 100% sure that you haven't missed something, then you can share the video + alignment file and I can take a look.

Yes, you'll need to be a bit more specific about your issue. Why do you think it is using CPU? Have you checked here:

Re: Gray faces after 200k iterations

This is model corruption/model not learning. It will be an issue with your specific setup as this is not a pattern I have seen before. Check that you have no overclocks (even factory overclocks) on your GPU.

@bryanlyon may have other suggestions.

Re: Critical Error

This is an issue which has been around since pretty much cv2-dnn was added. Ultimately, cv2-dnn is NOT a good aligner and should be avoided if at all possible. We have never been able to fix this issue as we have never been able to recreate this issue (basically, where it fails for you, it will not ...

I think you are right. Person B is a small guy and person A is 98kg. How do I shrink the mask?

Use the preview tool. This is covered in the guides.

Re: Status after 900k + Iterations

I would say your B data is not varied enough. Ultimately the angles/expressions in the swap are not matching up, which tends to be a sign of not having enough variety of data for the NN to be able to resolve the differences.

Re: How to simply swap faces of two images?

Faceswap is not the software you require for your kind of use case. It requires lots of data for both sides. Something like First Order Motion Model may be more what you are looking for:

Re: Confused about alignment file

An alignments file is always generated when you run the "Extract" process. If it wasn't then most likely you did something wrong.

The convert guide covers how to obtain an alignments file:

Re: Running convert tool on renamed file causing "no alignment found... skipping" errors?

IIRC, yes the name of the video matters. This is a legacy from when Faceswap only accepted images (not video) as input. The filename of each image was used to track the file. The alignments file basically treats a video file as a series of images, and uses the original filename to track each frame i...

You should post the full crash report, but on the face of it, this looks like "out of memory". Lower your batchsize/use a lighter model.

Re: Faceswap installer broken on GCE (and possibly elsewhere)?

This kind of thing doesn't surprise me too much. Unfortunately the workaround to getting 30xx support into faceswap is a bit messy, so I'm not surprised there are conflicts. pfakanator may be able to update this image, or (hopefully) this issue will resolve in time when Conda get 30xx support workin...

Re: Manual tool extraction issues

It's been a while since I implemented this code, so I can't remember exactly what it does. However, iirc, this can happen for several reasons. Variable framerate being one. Video not cut on a keyframe being another. The main issue is that working with video is a pain. These kind of issues don't show...
