Many Sources vs several sources?
The guide states you should use several sources for your input data, specifically using several other videos of Harrison ford for your Indiana jones Deepfake. Does anyone know If you get better results from using many many sources rather than just a few? For example 100 frames from 100 different mov...

Re: I am very new to faceswap and need some help with a crash report
Go to where ever you have faceswap installed, and in that folder will be text files called "crash report" choose the most recent one. If any of your folders in your computer involving faceswap use a name which you wish to keep private, open up the text file and do some control-f searches a...

Re: What things contribute to the best result?
-To reiterate what bryanlyon said but in more detail, Your data is the most important. If you are swapping trumps face onto Nicolas cage, Your trump data and your Nicolas cage data should come from well-lit, clear, 1080p videos or 4k if you can, and it should not come from low quality videos like wh...

Re: Same missing alignments problem while training
If by out of memory you mean it runs out of my computer memory, perhaps. It does seem to work best (best meaning it works for an hour or 2 ) when I restart my computer and it tends to crash when I open up even light applications. A batchsize of 2 is what I'm using as any larger crashes after 30 seco...

Re: Same missing alignments problem while training
I figured it out but boy did it give me plenty of issues. At first it had some keyerror where it would have a problem with the first picture in my b set, and if i removed that picture it would have an issue with the second picture and on and on and on. It turns out taking out all the pathways (that ...

Re: Same missing alignments problem while training
Thanks again for helping me out. You are really going to start missing out on benefits in training They seem like great features, I would honestly love to use them, but every time I start a new project and a new model, there's just no alignments file there. -and thus I have this problem after every ...

Does anyone else feel like the training "previews" always look better than the "timelapse" photos?
Sometimes the training previews even look better than the actual converted video! Honestly not a real problem, but I always look at the previews and think "wow it's looking pretty good!! Lets convert/or check the timelapse and when I do I'm like... awww its kinda meh." It's almost li...

Why is the new "convert batchsize" feature under the training plug-ins?
Wouldn't it make more sense on the convert plug ins or even the convert column since it directly related to converting?
Love the feature btw, its sure to come in handy in the future.

Re: Comparing model types with examples
Yeah I noticed the randomness thats so weird!! I assume if they were all trained to perfection most of that randomness would go away. Also I updated the coverage % I got a bunch more to post so be ready for the spam. I stretched them again to compensate for being a gif, but I also went with much lar...

Re: Comparing model types with examples
So abigflea gave me permission to use his videos and try to make them play sidebyside or overlap for better comparison, but I quickly found out that my poor little computer can't handle running faceswap and video editing at the same time. So I popped open photoshop and made a gif. Gifs are low quali...

Re: Comparing model types with examples
Reposting because I have a little more to say plus a request --Could you post how many iterations you did for all of those examples? You mentioned the number in some but not all (the DFL, the 64 in and out, and the 64 in 128 out) Very interesting post. just like you mentioned, Dlight has also been g...

Re: Training crash related alignment file missing?
The reason for this is that "Penalized Mask Loss" is enabled by default (where it wasn't in the old world), and this requires an alignments file. You can turn this off in Model Settings. This fixed my problem. Thank you very much. I'll admit that while I tinkered with lots of settings try...

I'm curious how often everyones computer crashes?
As the title states, I'd like to hear often there computer crashes when they run faceswap. I've only blue screened twice. But I do crash the program or freeze crash my computer alot. ( freeze crash meaning that faceswap and or other programs will take up so much of my memory that screen freezes and ...

Re: Which GPU should I get? AMD vs Nvidia?
Thanks for the responses as well as the consumer advice. I didn't wait for the new set of Nvidia cards because it was more of a flash opportunity -for once I had some extra money lying around and it probably wouldn't be there by the time that came out. I decided to replace my rx580 with the rtx 2060...

Before I start, let me say, Yes. Yes I did see that only like 4 posts ago someone asked something pretty similar. And yes I saw the plaidML graph bryan posted. I guess since Im incredibly inexperienced with computers and all that, I thought I'd ask my very similar question and have double confirmat...

Re: Prioritize Eyes?
When I had a problem similar to this, it seemed to be a combination of not having enough images for both A and B, we are talking extremely low numbers here, and also the source material I was deepfaking the face onto was pretty low res. The df came out great and realistic in every other way, but the...
