Re: "NVML Shared Library Not Found" with new drivers.

Yes, if we get confirmation that it works with users, we can implement it automatically. But we want to be sure it fixes the problem before we put in the workaround.

Corridor Digital's Faceswap videos.

Good examples of what can be done with FS + some post processing. Also a cool Behind The Scenes of the action. Check it out.

Re: Optimum Training Settings

Fair point. I just wondered if like network rendering you could portion out say Model A to one, and Model B to another. Unfortunately, in order to swap they require a shared encoder. If we could eliminate that then we could train on separate machines. Right now my best suggestion is to just put mul...

Re: Optimum Training Settings

Latency really kills any gains sharing training would give. Synchronizing the two systems would be very slow and would effectively be slower than a single system in many cases.

Re: Is it necessary detecting GPU&driver for use?

Detection takes longer, it's a harder problem iterating over the image in multiple resolutions to find faces. It's more than 10x longer to do than landmarks. That's all.

Re: Loss briefly spiked, then recovered. What happened?

This is usually a sign of an overclocked GPU. The other option is exploding gradients that recovered -- which is far more rare. The fact it was uniform for A and B tells me the GPU is more likely the culprit.

Re: Extraction hangs on "Starting, this may take a while..."

We've seen several reports where extract says it's intelligent but then just doesn't nice any farther. If you run into this issue know we're aware of it and trying to solve it,. I'd you have a problem but it doesn't match this exactly, please post a separate message. We welcome any new information o...

Hardware best practices

Edit: At this time there are still issues with availability for GPUs. My "recommended" GPU is the 3060. WIth it's high vram and low MSRP it's the best value for new GPUs. Buying hardware is always complicated, but it's even more complicated when your buying for faceswap. Because of that, ...

Nice buildout, too bad about the high prices on your side of the planet.
