Re: I am getting a picture reading error please help.

Without the log, it's next to impossible to say. A screengrab is not enough.

Re: Problem with Cuddnn - no global version found?

Uninstall Global Cuda. It is conflicting with the locally installed Cuda that we use.

Re: CRITICAL An unexpected crash has occurred. - OSError: [Errno 32] Broken pipe

That's an ffmpeg error. For some reason ffmpeg isn't seeing the input video.

Try using the OpenCV writer, then use the Effmpeg Tool to stitch the frames back to a video.

The alignments file is stored next to the video when you extract from it.

Re: Pre-trained models and head replacement

1) Does Faceswap allow you to use pre-trained models like in DFL? It speeds up operations a lot. No... or at least, we don't provide pre-train face-sets and models. It is a question of some debate as to whether pre-training helps or not. However, there is nothing stopping you creating your own face...

Re: Faceset from deepfacelab to Faceswap. It's possible?

No, the only supported faces are the "half-face" facesets, and due to upcoming changes in Faceswap these will soon also no longer be supported.

Re: Update Samples does not work (no errors, but no image refresh)

If you are able to screen-record what you are doing in any way, it may help. I haven't had (or seen reports of) any issues with this, so it may be that you are just doing something slightly wrong.

It's hard to know without seeing though.

Re: I can't use my GPU in model training

Glad you got it solved.

If you used the installer, it is recommended to not install Cuda/cuDNN at all system-wide, as it interferes with the local install we provide.

Re: Error when extracting face from images - error: (-215:Assertion failed) !ssize.empty() in function 'cv::resize'

I can never recreate this error, and as far as I can tell it is actually a memory error.

The fact that you are running on CPU with 4GB of RAM would suggest to me that this is the case here also.

Re: help- picking next gpu for trainings

3080 will run all current models just fine.

You can run all models on a 2060 super, so no problems with 3080.

We don't support 3xxx series at all at the moment. This is entirely because we need to wait for Tensorflow to release a supported version. Once that is done, we will look to implement.

Sadly there isn't an "out of the box" way, no.

If you were comfortable with Python scripting, then this could be done, yes.

Generally DVDs, HD rips and Blu-Ray rips for me.

I will augment these with videos from YouTube, but I try not to make it my primary source, as YouTube compression is kinda over the top.

Re: Manual Tool update?

Manual Tool has been in the main release for quite some time.... I believe we have had a major upgrade since it has been released, and it looks like you must be running quite an old version. Unfortunately you can't do a straight update to Faceswap 2.0, so you should grab the latest version and re-in...

Re: I can't seem to train from GPU

Unfortunately the compute capability of your GPU is 3.0 and the minimum required for Tensorflow 2.x is 3.5.

However, I believe you can still use Faceswap v1.0 on that GPU which runs Tensorflow 1.15:

Re: You do not have enough GPU memory

I hope you're intending to train on more than 7 images? 7 images is noway near enough! Also, you really shouldn't be running out of memory with FAN. At this point, I really don't know what is up with your setup :/ You don't need an output type for mask. You just need to specify the mask type to gene...

Re: You do not have enough GPU memory

There is something weird going on here. You really shouldn't be running out of VRAM when doing this :/ This is failing on the vgg-clear mask. What I suggest, in lieu of finding the actual problem, is to not selected any maskers when extracting. Add masks in afterwards with the "mask" tool....

Re: Can Not Find Model File in Folder

Yes, this model has corrupted as seemingly Shadow has shut down during a model save. If you have a snapshot folder, then you can rename the latest snapshot folder to replace your model folder and continue training from there. Alternatively, please run the restore function with loglevel set to TRACE ...

Re: You do not have enough GPU memory

S3FD shouldn't fail on 4GB of RAM, but every PC is different, so who knows what is going on there. Yes, S3FD is a very heavy model (it isn't that Faceswap takes a lot of VRAM, but the models we use). Basically (without going into a full session about Machine Learning), models hold a certain number o...

This is almost definitely a mistake which has been made somewhere in the process....

Unfortunately, without access to the images and the alignments file it is going to be very hard to diagnose.
