Re: Run Faceswap on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Hi Maria Thanks for this. I saw your email, but got a bit waylaid, so haven't had a chance to respond. A couple of bits of feedback: Cuda/cuDNN does not need to be installed manually (in fact it's an obsolete step, as the version of Cuda you install is not the version we ultimately use). If using th...

Re: [indexing bug?] Manual tool landmarks showing up on wrong preview thumbnail

Yeah, this happens when deleting faces. Unfortunately it's a very hard bug to track down, so I haven't prioritized.

You can still delete faces without the landmarks, and a reload of the tool will bring everything back in line.

I tend to keep any in which crop above the eyes, but discard others. As long as there aren't too many of them, it shouldn't matter too much.

Re: Do trainer options (e.g. flip chance) apply only to "Original" model or to everything?

It does it for all models. It's structured the way it is as the "original trainer" is a plugin, and it leaves us scope to add other trainers if we ever see a need. So, yeah, no need to manually process any faces. Also, manually processing is likely to strip the alignment data from the imag...

There have been no changes to Extraction code for a while, and I have never seen this.... not that this is much help to you, I'm afraid. I'm not even sure how to start diagnosing on that :(

Re: Alignments file does not exist and '_training_o' Error

Make sure your software is up to date. Alignments file has not been required for training for a while. If you are, please provide the full crash report from your Faceswap folder. Finally, make sure you read the guides in each of the forums. Whilst that video is ok for an overview, the guides are far...

It looks like all your images are failing to load. Try using paths without any special characters in their name (e.g. é). Specifically there may be an issue with the folder name téléchargement

Re: Extractions and training error using old model and data since recent update

so I tried re-extracting my older B data so it can train and the images all came out really small, despite the same extraction size being selected. And when I mean small I mean the file size was still 256 by 256, but there was a huge black border all around it That looks to me like you have fed a l...

It should. I will need to check. I will look when I have a chance (may not be for a while).

Thanks for the heads up. I'm tagging your post with bug to remind me to revisit.

Re: Issues With Convert

I literally have no idea what you have done here. The penalized mask loss message should not appear on a trained model for conversion, it will only appear during training. Check all your paths are correct. Re: alignments file for convert, read the guide pinned at the top of this forum. It is covered.

Re: Index Error - Alignments

Not at all. I literally just put the "active bug" code in so I could get some more information out about what is going wrong. So.... the issue is that you have mismatched sized faces in the training folder. I will look to put something in to catch this and output a more useful error messag...

This is fine:
_extract_face called without a loaded image. Returning empty face.

For the other, I will need the crash report.

Re: Edit/resize faces AFTER extraction?

Super-ressing images and feeding into Faceswap is generally bad juju (basically, feeding an AI images generated by another AI tends to not work out so great). However, to answer your initial question.... It depends on the software package, and whether it maintains the information that we store in th...

I'd need to look at the model code, but IIRC I don't think so. I believe that the A and B side are structured differently.

Oh, this is not going into the main code... and we haven't opened up early access yet. The screengrab above is from an earlier test version (when we were rolling with 'fakecoin', but realized that it may not be the best name to use, so we changed to facekoin, so we didn't need to purchase any more l...

Re: RealFace or Dlight when training for 128px output?

Honestly, that's not an answer we can really give.... it really is an experiment for the user. As you are aware, training models takes time, so we cannot test all (or any) settings. Generally higher = better, but that is a massive over-simplification and is only true to a point.
