Re: Manual Editor: Deletes masks... but where are my alignment now?

Done.
The odd thing is that the second extraction occasionally looses a few faces (let's say...100 old faces present in the directory..85 extracted) . ... but it works.

Thanks!

Manual Editor: Deletes masks... but where are my alignment now?

Hello... this is what I have done: 1) Fixed by hand the alignments on a big file (a merged file with about 2K faces) 2) Rebuilt the masks (extended) 3) launched the training: No way! it says aligments with no faces. 4) Run the remove face tool TWICE: (the first time it did not fix anything apparentl...

Converting errors?

Hello, guys... some time has passed. Getting nice results with the DFL H128. However, tonight... I am getting a bunch of these: All the same ..... 05/26/2020 22:43:10 ERROR Failed to convert image: 'scena1hires_002057.png'. Reason: 'extended' 05/26/2020 22:43:10 ERROR Failed to convert image: 'scena...

Re: Color <->BW question

I think I see your point: It could be difficult for the NN to understand that the white of the eyes is not as pink as the skin tone... and that the eyes are not just a dark shade of red/brown.

...probably I'll have to colorize (maybe not so accurately) but I'll have to do something anyway.

Thanks!

Color <->BW question

Hello...

Let's suppose we want to see an old BW movie star swapped onto a modern action movie hero.

Would it work ? Is color an inheritable feature ? What about the opposite ?

Just curious... (I love old BW classics)

Is this an out-of-memory error ?

Tried to run DFL-Sae... got this error log

Tried to set all the mem-saving options (ping-pong , memory saving gradient and optimizer saving).. no luck.

The Dlight -instead-seems to be working fine.

I understand this is a normal behaviour by Dlight.... but... has this a particular meaning ?

Re: The recovered images are quite blurred

My recent experience: Dlight: batches of 4 (sorry... little Gpu-RAM on my GTX1050) Almost 520K iterations and going. Almost 2K faces per set. The eyes are just beginning to look realistic.... and looking in the right directions. Only very little photos still have a "blank" cornea or -quite...

Re: Yikes! The Spikes"

Yup! It's really funny... I see "melted faces" in the next preview or Marty Fleldman's eyeballs.

Yikes! The Spikes"

Hello,

What is the meaning of this -if any- ?

Around 270.000 iteration, batches of 4, Dlight trainer...still a little blurry, but previews are improving (even if the loss barely decreases)

Unexpected Crash during training (exception on main handler)

Hello, Just got this crash during training: (crash log attached) Here is also the Console Output I noticed two things: 1) The secondary window with the previews was gone when this happened. 2) I just rehit "start" and everything restarted flawlessly: no need to close faceswap and restart i...

Re: Better A > B Swap than B > A on different trainer models (Newbie)

Sheeesssss...

This explains a lot of things... including -probably- the fact that randomly there are faces on the "weak" side looking like Marty Feldman...

Anyway, this had a good side effect: now I am cleaning my input data a lot more carefully.

B/W Question...

Hello, Just a stupid question: Being a fan of classic movies... most of which in Black and White... would it be reasonable to create a simpler neural network (trainer) working on a single luminance channel, instead of full RGB ? Would it be ...let's say feasible in this way to trade the infos usuall...

Re: Better A > B Swap than B > A on different trainer models (Newbie)

Hmmm wait...wait...wait.... this is kind of confusing..

The trainer window looks like this (at least this is what I see on the pop-up balloons)

Does this mean that I am doing things the wrong way (If I want to keep a good quality)?

Re: Cannot Extract any more:

UPDATE: Apparently it depends on some info in the project file: I had been able to extract again in a "blank" project. This is what came out: 1) Stopped the training, try to extract new faces from a new clip ---> Cannot do that 2)Ok... then... exit the original project, create a new one......

Well... as long as I can run it's ok

I do beileve that a lot has to do with memory limitation.... but as soon as i grow more expert, I'll upgrade my card with something more powerful.

Thnx!

Re: Error 3221225477... maybe Fixed.

I replicated the error and here I have attached the faceswap.log file.

No chrashlogs were generated.

I'll keep on working as usual enabling the optimizer saving.

Cannot Extract any more: error: argument -M/--masker: invalid choice: 'none'

After the last update, the choice Masker "none" has gone away... and if no matter which masker I choose, the process halts. Here is what comes out. masker.JPG Loading... Setting Faceswap backend to NVIDIA usage: faceswap.py extract [-h] [-C CONFIGFILE] [-L {INFO,VERBOSE,DEBUG,TRACE}] [-LF ...
