Re: an error using stojo preset along phaze_a model

That's not an error, its standard for Phaze-A models. It's to do with the way the config system works, and the fact that I didn't want to give an option to freeze every single keras encoder in the plugin (too many options, doesn't make sense). When you select "Keras Encoder" for freeze/loa...

Re: crash when extracting

Decoder (codec av1) not found for input stream #0:1 The version of ffmpeg that comes with imageIO is 4.2.2. This does not have software AV1 codec support. Short solution: use a different video, or re-encode the video to a different codec. ref: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/68172718/ffmpeg-con...

Re: Mask display during training / verify mask after extraction

Ok, yes. I see the issue.... So a number of possibilities. It is very possible that you just can't see the mask because of the color contrast (as you said). Some kind of control would be useful for this kind of thing, I agree. Some other possibilities that you may want to rule out. Are you definitel...

Re: Installatim on Linux Mint 21.1

There was a bug in CPU mode of the installer. Has now been fixed.

Please re-download (https://github.com/deepfakes/faceswap/r ... tup_x64.sh) and try again.

No, but I could look to add this,

Can you share a screengrab illustrating what you mean?

Sorry. I mean what version (CPU, Nvidia, ROCm, etc) when selecting that option in the installer.

Could you tell us what version you attempted to set Faceswap up for when you ran the installer.

Re: Training Continuation Error: Unknown config_item: RandomNormal

See here: https://forum.faceswap.dev/viewtopic.php?t=2055 Most likely a version conflict. I find your post suspicious as it is almost a direct c+p from the above post, with a different crash report and some text changed. Either way, assuming you aren't a spammer, and I won't be shortly having to rem...

Re: Advice on settings for Hi Res Results

Unfortunately I don't have any definitive answers for you, however, there are some user supplied tests and presets in the Phaze-A thread which should help you get started. I did prep some of the photos using GFP-GAN Generally feeding AI upscaled images into the model can lead to issues, so be aware....

You can save a preset in the Phaze-A config settings and upload it here, if you want.

Re: Train on MULTIPLE FOLDERS containing extracted faces?

Yep, it was a lot more complicated when you had to keep track of alignments files for training.

Now it should be as simple as dumping any and all faces into a single folder and hitting "Train".

Hopefully the symlinks will work out for you

Re: Train on MULTIPLE FOLDERS containing extracted faces?

Sadly not, and given that you are the first person I have ever seen request this kind of feature, it is unlikely to be something I will implement. I'm curious as to what this means: > Additionally I have found that moving those extracts seems to break a lot of things in FS and want to avoid creating...

Re: More Accurate Align Tool?

Ok, alignment is a constant bugbear, as manual processing of faces is by far the most labour intensive and tedious part of the process, so anything to help with that would be an improvement. I am constantly keeping an eye out for better methodologies, although we do have some limitations; our entire...

Re: Central storage

I'm glad you have had success with Central Storage strategy. I was concerned, when implemented, that it did not give the VRAM savings that I had hoped for (I would expect it to save more VRAM than the 1 or 2 improvement of batch size that I achieved in testing). But, any little helps with VRAM savin...

Re: Does the manual tool have any keyboard controls? Shift-selection? Something to make mass-modification easier?

Sadly not. It's something I do want to add though, but (as I always say) there are many, many things on my todo list. As with all areas of the code, I would welcome Pull Requests in this area. In the meantime, for bulk actions, it is very much easier to do this with your OS's file explorer than in t...

Re: Is it possible to train on two faces in a video? Can your replace them both?

In this hypothetical, if they were identical twins, with no obvious differentiating features, then they would be to all intents and purposes the same face. The process for swapping multiple faces in the frame is, at a high level, as follows (we'll call our identities 'Bob' and 'Sue') Extract Extract...

Re: Converting only converting a every x images

No, that would be fine. Ulitmately, the issue must be with the alignments file. Otherwise you will have hit an issue which no one else has ever hit in an area of the code that hasn't been touched for a long time. The only other potential issue I can see is that there is a problem with frame duplicat...

Re: Converting only converting a every x images

It will only be doing that if the alignments don't exist in the alignments file. Double check and make sure you are using the correct alignments file.

As I said before, the manual tool will show where you are missing alignments.

Re: Converting only converting a every x images

The alignment file must be generated for every frame in the video when used for convert.

You can confirm if you are missing frames with the manual tool.
