Re: Process Exited No Clear Error Message

I know it has to do with the card because when I try using the CPU I get a similar readout but it works instead of saying "process exited" Many thanks in advance Unfortunately that output doesn't show any indication of why it might be exiting. Can you post your system info (output from He...

Re: Feature Request: Make Use of NVIDIA Hardware Video Decoding/Encoding with FFmpeg

Thanks for the idea.... for the reasons you mention (the complication when competing with GPU resources), as well as the sheer size of my to do list, this isn't something I can see myself implementing any time soon. I believe ffmpeg is multithreaded by default (unless you pass a parameter limiting t...

Re: CRITICAL Error caught! Exiting...ERROR Caught exception in thread: '_training_0'

That looks like a problem with (at least) one of your training images not being an extracted faceswap face

Re: [Guide] Using Faceswap on Nvidia RTX 30xx cards

The solid colors mean model corruption. You can try lowering the learning rate. That preset is particularly complex, so can be susceptible to collapse at higher learning rate.

Also, if using mixed precision, I highly recommend setting the Epsilon Exponent to -5 for that preset.

Re: Extraction Crash

This happens for 1 of a number of reasons....

1) There are special characters within the meta data of the video file. You can use something like MP3Tag

2) It's a false positive derived from some kind of memory error. If this happens, normally just running the process again remedies the problem.

Re: Extraction on Google colab

It's possible to do any of the Faceswap processes on Google Colab. I don't use it, personally, so can't help you with how, but it shouldn't be too involved.

Quick question @torzdf -

Did you use "no warp" at the end of training for this video? Or was it simply a run of 2M iterations with the StoJo preset model?

Yes. Can't remember when I disabled. Probably about halfway through

Is this simple change below all it takes to train at 384px for example (or is there more to it)?

Short answer. You could just do that, but there's more to it.

Long answer: A lot of maths.... I will come back and articulate at some point in the (hopefully) not too distant future.

That speed is about correct for StoJo. It is a heavy and complex model.

Re: [Guide] Using Faceswap on Nvidia RTX 30xx cards

Enable "Allow-Growth" in Global Model Settings. Thanks, but no change. Same errors. Any news on the official support? It seems conda has added tensorflow 2.5 to their package repo week a go. Updating faceswap to support 2.5 would allow 11.2 cuda/8.2 cudnn combo to work. edit: manaaged to ...

Re: [Guide] Using Faceswap on Nvidia RTX 30xx cards

Hmm, cant seem to get this to work with 3060 Ti and W10. Tried multiple configurations. From TF tried with 2,4, 2.4.1, 2.4.2. From Cuda and Cudnn versions I tried 11.0/8.0 and 11.2/8.2 combinations. Also from faceswap installations tried with gpu and cpu installation (and the method from first post...

Re: [Guide] Using Faceswap on Nvidia RTX 30xx cards

A few things. 1) The reporting from Faceswap on global Cuda/cuDNN may not always be 100% accurate. We hook into known locations to check, but these can change 2) I don't believe you have used the correct versions for Cuda/cuDNN for the TF 2.4.2 pip package, but you'd need to double check. The versi...

Ok so. I might not be that smart but. Must I swap face in the video I used for training?

No. It's best to follow the guides to understand how it all works (it's easier than me just re-explaining it all here)

Re: Training on Gt 710?

The GTX 710 is too old to use the latest Faceswap version (requires Compute Capability 3.5+). Also, 2GB means you may not be able to do very much. You can try V1 of Faceswap though, which should work on your card:

so I my 3080 start running now.

with batch size 4 and 12.8 EGs/sec. and batch size 5 also working but 1 EGs/sec more so...

is this normal speed for Phaze-A ?

That very much depends on the settings you choose.

FWIW convert is not particularly well optimized.

Either way, It should never use all of your RAM. It's specifically built to try not to use it by only holding onto those frames that it is processing at any given time.
