Tensorflow 2

Post by Ydor »

Is there any chance of faceswap to switch to tensorflow 2 anytime in future?

Modern adaptions of rocm for example are only supporting TF2 and there won't be any support for the outdated first version of the framework I guess.

We already support TF2 in the latest version of FS and have for a little while now. If you have the TF1 version you can remove it and download the latest installer from https://github.com/deepfakes/faceswap/releases/ to get the TF2 version.

This includes features such as:
Mixed Precision Training
New simultaneous A and B models
Faster inference
VRAM savings
