Is it better to run face swap on SDD than on HDD?

SSD is preferred, but Faceswap does it's best to load in data in advance so you're unlikely to even notice the difference. I personally have swapped with remote network drives without trouble.

Check out the hardware guide at viewtopic.php?f=16&t=10 for more information.

I don't think you'll see a difference when doing a face swap. Generally, I would recommend SDD as it's faster, much more durable than HDD, definitely more compact and quieter when being used, and what's more important, it consumes less energy. I started using SDDs instead of HDDs after I almost lost all the information on my computer. My hard disk slowed to a crawl and when it reopened I couldn't find anything on my laptop. Back then I used DATA RECOVERY SERVICES to recover my lost information and I got the suggestion to use an SDD hard disk. Since then, I only used this type and had no other problems.
