Is Extraction using After Effects possible?

Post by CyJackX »

After Effects has pretty robust face tracking and masking, and thus it seems that it would be possible to do extraction there if you wanted.

Obviously the built-in solution is very simple and easy, but I'm wondering if AE is superior or better-equipped to deal with higher resolutions?

After Effects does not necessarily give us all the data we use, that said, if you don't use a mask you could potentially use AE just to extract the faces.
