old extracted faces with .fsa upgrade?

Post by Korben »

Is there a tool to update a face folder that has a .fsa file created with a previous version so it can be used to train in the latest version?

Chances are you're asking about legacy vs face extract?

If so, you can keep using the old set by changing to "legacy" faces in the configuration settings.

If it's not that, please explain what your issue is in more detail so we an help understand what you need.

If you mean that you have a folder of faces (used for training) that also includes a .fsa alignments file, and you want to upgrade the faces to put the alignment information in the .png header, then yes... this should be doable, although I haven't checked the code for a while, so can't guarantee it still works.

The Alignments tool performs a check on faces folders, and updates legacy faces (assuming you still have the full alignments file). Any alignments job that requires a faces folder as an input should update your face set. The "Remove-Faces" job looks like a non-destructive job to run that should do it for you.

My word is final
