Pre-trained models and head replacement

Post by FuorissimoX »

Hi, I was using deefacelab but it got me bored.

1) Does Faceswap allow you to use pre-trained models like in DFL? It speeds up operations a lot.

2) Is it possible to replace the entire head in FS?

No... or at least, we don't provide pre-train face-sets and models. It is a question of some debate as to whether pre-training helps or not. However, there is nothing stopping you creating your own face-set and pretraining with that.

Steps are being made to support this, but it's unlikely to come soon.

My word is final
