Training with RAM

Post by gseinstein »

My rig have a RAM of 24 GB and VRAM of 4GB. It seems that while training the faceswap thread only uses less than 3GB of my ram and is using all the 4GB VRAM. Is there any way to make the training process more RAM intensive than VRAM..?

It doesn't work that way.

Your GPU is what will be used more heavily and is the bottleneck, Using more system RAM will not make things run faster.
