Most likely you are out of GPU Memory (https://github.com/plaidml/plaidml/issues/225)

Try lowering the batch size.

Also consider sticking with simpler models.
Lightweight, Original or DFaker.
They get a bit too complicated after that, for AMD Polaris GPUs.
