Side on FaceA - inconsitant

Post by DannyA »

Hello all.

I have a problem with some side on profile images of FaceA not being picked up for the swap.

I think it may of been a problem with the boundary box and the points it tries and picks up.
IIRC some of the boxes were just full of squiggly lines. I tried to stretch the box out a bit on some of them and it picked up a partial face.

Any tips? I made sure I got corresponding side on images for FaceB

thanks

Profile shots are notoriously tricky to get correct alignments on.

If you can't get the alignment tool to latch on to any landmarks, you can try adjusting the "normalization" setting. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't.

If the worst comes to the worst, you may need to edit the landmarks of one face and then copy it frame by frame, shifting the points as necessary.

My word is final

Thank you. It's only a handful of frames so worst case I still might be able to solve that one
