Faceswap not launching after forced end

hi everybody,

I have this strange issue on windows. I have been using Faceswap for at least two months. using Realface as trainer on a 2070 rtx GPU, 32 Gb Ram, and an i9 9900K processor.

today I was trying different settings of FFmpeg when it got stuck and could not complete the conversion. I decided to force quit the app. Tried to relaunch, it does not work. It does not open at all. I just quickly see the terminal appearing and disappearing. Tried to delete the app, the folder and reinstall it. No ways. Same behaviour.

Do you have any idea? Except formatting and reinstalling windows itself?

Thanks for your kind help
A.

If you didn't try restarting your system already that would be worth a try.

Otherwise please select the TRACE loglevel, start again and attach the resulting "faceswap.log" file (should be in your faceswap directory)

Thanks. In fact yes, I tried multiple times restarting. I will attach the file.

I just realized that I have not the log file anymore as one of the first attempts was to uninstall and re-install.

The only doubt is that maybe there are some hidden files here and there to delete, is that possible? Right now I have everything apparently under /users/myname/faceswap.

I decided to go the hard way. I am formatting my PC, reinstalling Faceswap, doing the "bad things" I was trying to do and then look for the log files.

Bad things were like: enlarging the face area in the converter, turning ffmpeg speed from medium to super slow and the loss level to 17

thanks.

I'm going to lock this as it won't be possible to diagnose further.

If you continue to have issues, please start another topic.

Thanks.
