Hello bryanlyon,

I made everything described under app.php/faqpage#f1r1 but after that, I got this problems during installation:

"(check) CPU Supports AVX Instructions
(check) CPU Supports SSE4 Instructions
(check) Completed check for installed applications
(check) Setting up for: nvidia

Downloading Miniconda3...
Installing Miniconda3. This will take a few minutes...
Miniconda3 installed.
Initializing Conda...
Creating Conda Virtual Environment...
Error Creating Conda Virtual Environment
Install Aborted"

I got this everytime I use the task of app.php/faqpage#f1r1

Even if I try to manually install Anaconda and give faceswap installer the right path of the location, I got this error:

"(check) MiniConda installed: failed to create process.
(check) CPU Supports AVX Instructions
(check) CPU Supports SSE4 Instructions
(check) Completed check for installed applications
(check) Setting up for: nvidia

Miniconda3 installed.
Initializing Conda...

Der Befehl "conda" ist entweder falsch geschrieben oder
konnte nicht gefunden werden.
Creating Conda Virtual Environment...
failed to create process.
Der Befehl "conda" ist entweder falsch geschrieben oder
konnte nicht gefunden werden.
Error Creating Conda Virtual Environment
Install Aborted"

Sadly its written in german, but it only tells me, that the command "conda" ist false or could not be found.

I didn't had problems with the old version of faceswap, which one was released in the year 2019.

I am despairing only due to the installation process, can anyone help me please whats the problem?

If anyone has the old installer of 2019, can you send me please the link to the download?
maybe this will work.

Thank you very much for your help.

kind regards

The installer just downloads and installs from the github. If it's failing on conda then you might want to manually install miniconda and provide the path to the faceswap installer.

Hello byranlyon

I downloaded manually miniconda and provided the path to it.

But now I got this error:

I made sure that I have a stable internet connection, I already have a stable connection to the internet.

Do you know how I can solve this error?

That is entirely a network issue. If your network is stable and you can access the anaconda.com you should be able to download without problem.

If you keep getting problems there, that's an anaconda issue and it's not anything we can fix here.

Hi bryan

I double-clicked on the icon on my desktop, then the command program (cmd.exe) shows up, but the gui does not launch.

Do you maybe got the first installation of faceswap (maybe the beta version of 2019) for download?

I used it a long time ago and it worked for me really good without any issues.

kind regards

You have a problem with you SSL somehow. You will need to resolve this.

Ultimately FS cannot download the files it needs. As Bryan says this is a Conda (and pip) issue, but more specifically the issue is originating from your end.

Code: Select all

Could not fetch URL https://pypi.org/simple/pip/: There was a problem confirming the ssl certificate: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='pypi.org', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /simple/pip/ (Caused by SSLError("Can't connect to HTTPS URL because the SSL module is not available.")) - skipping

You would need to troubleshoot those issues first. however this:
app.php/faqpage#f1r1

should resolve your problems without having to dig around why you have SSL issues (unless your issues are system wide).

My word is final
