generic face swap

Is it possible to train a generic face swap model? i.e. instead of one specific face to another, take any face and swap it with any other. There are apps that do this with "decent" results so I know it is possible in general I just don't know if it's possible with this project. To word it another way, could I take thousands of images of random faces and train a model swapping with other random faces and get a usable result?

No. That's a different type of "morphing" model. They tend to not be of as high quality, and lose a bit of identity.
