Adding filtered faces

Post by MaxHunter »

The extraction filter filtered out faces I want and put them in the filtered folders. Can I just add them to the faces folder and the alingment will automatically add them when I do my remove faces, or is there a process to add them to the alingment file?

I'm still working on this area, so will update the documentation when done.

If you want to fish faces out of the filter and re-add them, then you should discard your original alignments file, put all of the faces you want to keep in the same folder and run the alignments tool job from-faces to generate a new alignments file with the faces you want to keep.

However, bear in mind that the extraction filters are fairly loose, so depending on which filter removed the face then it may be the case that it happens to look aligned, but the underlying landmarks are not actually correct.

My word is final
