Blurred face from resuming a model file

Post by bba20 »

The face are the same two women however the face folder files that was used to train the model are not exactly the same. Some of the faces seem very good in the preview but Im also getting ones like this: Image.

Should I restart a new model or will the program eventually clear it up?

I trained it about another 50k lterations and there's some pics that seem not to be clearing in the preview or just going very very slow, plus the model seems like its learning newer pics even slower. Granted the model was resumed at 550k trained off an old batch of faces. I think having one or two faces missing from the model seemed to have critically slowed it but that's my opinion, don't know for sure. Really unsure when it will clear so I went ahead and started training a fresh model.

This is almost definitely a data issue with not enough variety in either or both the A and B side.

Both A and B have a large number of images to work from, over 50k. I mean I agree it's a data issue since model A's image set was not the same. The damaged model did pick up on her A's face and technically 'worked' when I did a convert but the loss rate was not lowering during training. and I didn't want to train to 1 million and it still not be fixed. Anyway the new model is training fairly fast I should be back up to where I left off in a few days. ;)
