Manual editing of png files without alignment file

Post by monoglot »

Hi All,

New to faceswap and the forum so sorry if this is a stupid question.

As I understand it, alignments are stored in the image files created during extract. Is it possible to use the manual edit tool to edit the embedded alignment of an extracted image without having to load the original alignment file created during extraction? Looking at the manual edit tool in the gui it only seems to have the option to load from an alignment file.

Thanks!

The manual tool requires the original video to operate. That's why it needs the alignment file. The individual images contain their own data, but not the information from the original video. Besides, once you edit the alignment data, you'll need to re-extract because the data would change the image.
