training stops when opening other programms on my computer

There is no crash report. The status bar just freezes and nothing happens. In the analysis afterwards there is written that, if I trained 10 minutes but switched to for example my browser at minute 3, it only trained 3 minutes and the status bar freezes at 3 minutes.
For now I just let it run at night, when I don't use my computer but I want to be able to train all the time even if it means at a slower paste daytimes.
Does anyone have solutions?
