Reversing or uncovering a faceswap

Hope I'm not posting in wrong area, NOOB of course, but it should be somewhat easy to answer as I don't think it can go both ways. My question is " can a faceswap be reversed and or detected" in order to reveal the true " MODEL" I believe this what they would be considered?? Either way thanks for any and all help. It's a very important question though for me because there's a lot riding on me being able to do this somehow. Again thank u all

Reversing? No, absolutely not.
Detecting? Yes.
Automatically? Almost definitely.
100% accurate? Probably not, but you can get close.
Ways to fool the detection? Absolutely.
Direction to look for detection? Facebook did a competition where they asked for people to provide algorithms for Deepfake detection. Most of those are publicly available (though a bit old and not going to work as well for the newer models) if you search around you can find them.
