Is there any good video editing tool for low end PC

I'm looking for some tools that my low end pc with i3 5th gen can handle easily.

I'm looking for some tools that my low end pc with i3 5th gen can handle easily.
Any video editing tool should be fine (eg: kdenlive - free, Adobe Premiere - paid), just don't expect any of them to be particularly fast on an i3.
I know for sure that Premiere is handled easily on my i3 1st generation with half/quarter preview. I did see some random freezes though, but it was probably because of my laptop having 2 GB of RAM.
