Is the Nvidia RTX A4000 GPU supported by the Faceswap software?

Post by vichitra5587 »

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum.

I am making a PC purely for deep learning purpose with no intentions of gaming.
My budget allows me to buy a RTX A4000 which in my country is cheaper than a RTX 3070.
Here is the official page of the card :- Nvidia RTX A4000

Is this GPU supported by the Faceswap software since I have not seen anyone talking about it on this forum.
Also by comparing the hardware specs like VRAM, CUDA cores & Tensor cores, it seems like it outperforms the RTX 3070
for deep learning.
Am I right about it?

I am actually planning to use the Real Face model with 128px Input & 256px output.

I may also shift to a RTX 3060 12gb if for some reasons my budget comes down.
Any suggestions are helpful.
Thank you.

That's an Ampere GPU with a compute capability version of 8.6 (same as the RTX30xx series), so it should be fine. Basically, if it can run Tensorflow it can run Faceswap.

My word is final
