How do I merge alingments?

Post by MaxHunter »

I'm embarrassed to ask because it sounds like an obvious answer, but I can't find an updated answer. How do I merge two alignment files?

And before you point me here:

It doesn't actually say how to do it. 😆

You can't. There is no practical reason to do so. The only reason it existed in the past was because the alignments file was required for training. It is no longer required.

So, lets say i have my "faceB" alignment. If i later extract other videos/pictures i can pretty much delete those Alignment files?
I.e. VideoB is aligned, I add VideoC and extract. I can/could delete VideoC and alignment files?
Sorry if confusing. And thanks i love your work.

Personally, I like to keep alignments files + videos as they take less space than face images, but short answer: yes. If these are just training images, you can delete the alignments file + source.
