CPU 100% usage even though video card selected

Not sure what's going on, I recently reinstalled faceswap and since I have it's acting like it's not using the GPU. my GPU is at 12% usage, CPU constantly at 100%, even though it says it's using nvidia, eg:

Cuda and cuDNN have not been installed....

You will need to provide the faceswap_setup.log in your faceswap folder to be able to ascertain why.

Most likely it was an internet issue during the installing of those components and a re-install should fix it.

I've reinstalled, but I thought it was installed last time? how do I know if it's installed now. When I try and upload the setup log as an attachment to this message it says the file is too big

If successfully installed, cuda and cudnn will be listed under:

We install cuda and cudnn inside your environment (for very good reasons), so it doesn't matter what you had installed before if you are installing again.

Yes, setup log is large. You'll need to host it on pastebin/google drive etc and provide a link.

But I did CTRL+F search, couldn't find cuda or cudnn. I've reinstalled this twice, anyway to install these manually rather than rely on the installer?

Ok, your python system is somehow broken....

There are a number of packages which the setup system says are already installed, which should not be possible to already be installed (we start with a blank environment every time, however other badly installed libraries can interfere with this). Included in these globally installed packages is a slightly outdated version of Tensorflow. This means that the code to install cuda and cuDNN will never be run, as it relies on installing Tensorflow.

Now we could manually install cuda + cuDNN, but it will not solve the root of your problem and you will run into this again in the future.

The solution to fix the root problem is to follow all of the steps here and reinstall:
app.php/faqpage#f1r1

I am not sure how fast this should be, currently it says 394 Egs/sec, but its not really seem to use either my GPU or CPU much, at least they are basically in idle both.

Not sure what you are doing, as you don't say. However 394 egs/sec in Faceswap, no matter what you are doing, is most definitely using the GPU.
