Shake of a half-visible face

Post by lighting »

When face move out of frame (and only half face visible) face on a converted video start to shake. I understand why this happen, but i don't understand how to solve this problem. Manually correct every frame very time-expansive and result is far from perfect because i can't reproduce refeed manually. Does exist some solution for this problem?

For going out of frame faces, I find a couple of things work ok for me:

  1. The alignments are manually fixed.
    • These don't need to be perfect. I tend to just copy from the last frame, then in Extract Box mode (green box), I move the box until the visible landmarks lineup close enough
  2. Some of these 'going out of frame' faces are included in training data
    • Model has a better idea of how to handle these situations

My word is final
