Re: Questions about a project.

Faceswap would definitely work for your usecase, but I'm not entirely convinced it is the best way to go, for a few reasons: The problems are there are a lot of subjects to alter, several shots contain several faces. They sometimes turn around, move quickly, wear glasses, have objects passing in fro...

Re: Training is not including the entire face

A screen grab of the preview window would be useful...

However, this sounds almost definitely that you selected the extended/components mask when starting training.

The selected mask is 'locked' to the model, so changing it after the model has started training will have no effect.

Re: Does the old "cnn" extractor still exist? Need help with updating commands from a very old version of this program!

Welcome back :) That was probably the DLIB extractor which, yes, has been completely removed from the project (due to being inferior to current offerings, and constantly causing issues for end users as it needed to be compiled to use the GPU). The convert guide is kept up to date, and faceswap has a...

Re: Can Penalized Mask Loss be changed in the middle of training?

Unfortunately not directly, as this is 'locked' to the model.

You could edit the model's statefile, although this is unsupported, and I'm not sure there is any value in switching the loss in this way.

Re: Conversion Error: ndarray is not C-contiguous

Ok, a couple of things... The log file you gave me does not show a not C-contiguous error. It shows a missing mask error, so the solution to this problem may not be the solution to the initial problem The reason why the first frame is failing is precisely because you edited the first frame. Any and ...

I don't think I've heard of anyone training it to completion, for the reasons you state. It takes a very long time.

Would be interested to know how you get on.

I will also need the source video that this alignments file relates to, to be able to diagnose this, I'm afraid.

Re: How to correct the dreaded micro-jitter?

I'm afraid not. It is not an issue that has impacted me for a long time. As I said, it is likely to be data related, so make sure you are well covered off on both sides for the scenes you are struggling with.

Re: Conversion Error: ndarray is not C-contiguous

Ok, it looks like it is failing because you have selected unet-dfl mask, but the image you are swapping doesn't have that mask. This shouldn't fail in this way (you should be told that you are missing the mask, also it looks like you do have that mask) Can you zip up the source + alignments file tha...

Re: How to correct the dreaded micro-jitter?

Ok, that mask is fine (landmark based masks can be more susceptible to it).

It is extremely unlikely to be extraction related (the model is built to handle a degree of jitter), and is far more likely model/data related

Re: How to correct the dreaded micro-jitter?

I have not had jitter in convert for a long time... It may be down to several things:

  • The mask you are using
  • Overtraining
  • Lack of data

Which mask are you using?

I really wish Windows wasn't such a trash OS. I recommend using anything else. This issue only impacts some Windows users and no one else. At this point I don't know what else I can do to fix it at install time as the bug does not happen to me. In the meantime, can you please provide me with the fil...

Re: Faceswap 3 open for testing

I thought I would upgrade to FS3 to test it out, and I have hit a snag or two. A number of packages seem to not fully install, but, oddly, if I try to manually install them after the incomplete FS3 install, the package always ends with the "you're good to go" message. Attached in a Zip: I...

Re: Help on choosing a GPU for faceswap

You gave this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CUDA#GPUs_supported in a comment you shared before and I took a look at it. my first question is, do we need to look at the CUDA SDK support score? Like RTX 2060S 7.5, 3060 8.6, 4060 8.9. Anything 10xx and above will work fine (at the time of writing) My ...
