Re: Alignment question

Interesting. I assume that would apply to something like if the points on the eye were upside down? Left eye with 37 &38 on top and 41 & 40 on bottom in the reference picture. If I were to reverse those, that would have an adverse effect, yes? Reason I am asking is I am fixing my alignments ...

Alignment question

I am wondering if it is important to follow the alignment points as shown in the extraction guide exactly? For example, Screenshot 2024-06-03 171122.png the left eye brow line starts far left at 17, arches to the right, and ends at 21. If that line was reversed, starting far left at 21, ending right...

Re: To mask or not to mask...

I appreciate the clarification! I've read that link and was still a lil shaky on explicitly "should I use a mask or not?". I know this isn't an absolute, but it's reassuring to have a 'soft' starting point.

Cleaning up

I can not find directions on what makes a "clean" set of images. Could you eleborate on what should and shouldn't be deleted when cleaning up an extraction folder?

To mask or not to mask...

Is there any thoughts of when to use a mask or not to? I assume this can depend on the situation and maybe user preference, but are there certain times one should definitely use/not use masks?

Juss sayin hi

Just wanted to say hello and that I am super grateful for this site and the guides posted in this forum!

I've been playing with deepfakes for almost a year now and I've learned more reading here in the last couple weeks than I have in months of experimentation. (thank you Arstechnica!)
