Re: Train Rate between Two Sessions

If you mean batch size, yes. Once you stop and restart the training it will change it

Re: [Guide] Extraction - A Workflow

I extracted my A with components and my B with vgg-obstructed and got poor results. Could that have been why? This is before I read you can only train with one mask

Re: [Guide] Extraction - A Workflow

You can use several masks for one faceset? Hm, have you noticed better results with that? And would you have to restart training?

Also, if you find the time, could you write out a brief workflow on how to use several masks. Thanks!

Re: [Guide] Extraction - A Workflow

Is it okay to extract your input A and B with different masks? Is it detrimental?

Re: Hardware best practices

Thanks for the advice! Sorry if this is redundant but - given how training is mostly GPU reliant, keeping my current CPU shouldn't affect it too much, no? I don't do any intense gaming stuff, where I'd imagine upgrading the CPU to match the GPU is non negotiable. If it is paramount, I totally could ...

Re: Hardware best practices

I have an Nvidia GTX 960 (4GB Vram gaming edition). I am experiencing slow iteration times on larger models and have to use both mem. saving gradients and optimizer savings. I am brutally aware that this card is underpowered by today's standards. Would upgrading to a RTX 2060 super with an AMD FX 83...

Re: Iteration count lower and upper limits

I ask because I'm coming up on 48 hrs with 50k iterations and it doesn't look too great. Blurry. I saw in another post 50k is likely too few.

Iteration count lower and upper limits

I know this is a question that is largely dependent on variables. However, in your experience, is there a lower and upper limit for # of iterations that you need for a decent product? (Specifically with Realface) Edit: And is there significant difference across different trainers for iterations requ...

How to record a video for the sole purpose of training/face swapping?

Hey all, new to the forums. The future truly is now. I saw in the guide, in training, your input B should have between 1,000 - 10,000 faces, ideally with varied expression. Say I were to record a 60 FPS, 1080p video of a friend for face swaps. What would the best practice to obtain useable training ...
