Re: I spent hours manually addjusting vgg-obstructed masks, but it doesn't use it in training?

I tried VGG because Bisnet wasn't working quite the way I wanted, but vgg wasn't really better - I should have just redone bisnet.

I forgot you can just do the missing ones! Will remember for next time.

I spent hours manually addjusting vgg-obstructed masks, but it doesn't use it in training?

When I select VGG it complains saying there's other masks. I can get it to run by picking extended or custom-face, but neither show the masks I spent so much time setting. Am I screwed? What did I do wrong? If I train on this and then convert, will the conversion use the mask at least? Does "le...

Re: Mixed_float16 error and extremely slow training

Yup, I had to change it back to admin to train because otherwise it dies after a while due to "file in use errors". And when I do, it only uses the CPU - no idea why that makes a difference.

Re: Mixed_float16 error and extremely slow training

I'm using Nvidia RTX 3070 M. Regardless, I had a suspicion it had something to do with me forcing python through the administrator account/permissions and removed that and it seemed to do the job. It's using my GP U again. I had changed it to try and solve that file in use error, but also had luck c...

Mixed_float16 error and extremely slow training

I just downloaded and installed the newest version of Faceswap. When I tried training on this new file (which is 1080p - I usually go smaller than that, but I've been having blur issues and thought a larger source file would be better). I got this error: 08/18/2023 07:16:40 WARNING Mixed precision c...

Pressing "Check for updates" just shows a message saying 'Yup, there's an update available - good luck newb"

It doesn't say that exactly, but the FAQ says it's supposed to download and install the update, but that's never worked for me. Every time I want the new version, I've had to install from scratch. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Getting file in use crash during training on scipy-zun5tqr4

For whatever reason, either setting python and faceswap to run as admin or setting it to save every 1000 iterations seems to have helped.

Re: Getting file in use crash during training on scipy-zun5tqr4

I do not know what that file is, but it will be generated by scipy (a library we use in data augmentation). As it comes from a library we use, rather than from Faceswap itself, I'm not sure there is much we can do to mitigate the issue. Searching the forum it appears you have raised this before: ht...

Re: Getting file in use crash during training on scipy-zun5tqr4

It only made it about 100 more iterations before crashing again.

Again at 2001 its.

scipy-cgk40_w2 @ 3001 its

scipy-5ekc3fh2 @ 3252

And so on.

Getting file in use crash during training on scipy-zun5tqr4

In my users/appdata/temp folder, the above listed file is showing as in use and crashes the process after 1500 or so iterations. Early phase, still on "warp". The file isn't there when I go look and seems to be related directly to faceswap. This was running while I was away from the comput...

Re: Consistently horrifying smear face when head is tilted back

Fair enough. So I need more source material with that angle. You're right that it's model-dependant on the eye thing though. I've only ever seen that dlite.

Re: Consistently horrifying smear face when head is tilted back

I'm also having a weird problem with one eye being open and the other closed... https://i.ibb.co/FBD6qR8/Screenshot-2023-08-02-060846.png At several points during this video (haven't seen this issue before - or wasn't too noticable), the eyes are looking in the wrong direction or one eye is weirdly ...

Consistently horrifying smear face when head is tilted back

https://i.ibb.co/3fLCKD7/Screenshot-2023-08-02-055642.png This pic is from a transition where the head is tilted pretty far back. On the right, you can see the distended blob that it became which is what always happens when I do faceswaps from any source video. I doublechecked my face b pics and al...

Would it help if I used more higher resolution photos than medium res frames of video?

Re: Two consistent problems - Blur and distortion when head is leaning back

What do I do about the blur though? I'm pretty sure I'm good with 512x512 source faces that are clear for the most part. Is there a better model for sharpness? Or do I need to push upwards of 400k on training for that?

Two consistent problems - Blur and distortion when head is leaning back

I have a good training set as far as I know, but I've noticed on several faceswaps now that if they model leans their head back more than a tiny bit, the face becomes wildly distorted. In my replacement face folder, I DO Have faces where they're leaned back and the alignments seem ok (the nose is ju...

Re: Could not broadcase input array from shape (x,y,z) into shape (x,y,z) on extraction

I hit it today on an extraction. For settings, the file dump would be good enough wouldn't it? As for source, how would I provide that? Google Drive or something?
