Re: Yet, Another Loss Value Question 😁

Yep. Up to date.
Here you go...
(Also, in case anyone cares, this is STOJO - with a few modifications - at 512, 100K in. I'm shocked at how good it looks already!)

Bug - RGB/BRG

Hate to add another post on this, as we dealt with this at an earlier time but I can't find the old post. I started a new model based on STOJO, at 512, using efficienetv2 -L (a 23Gb model 😯.) It seems the color scale hasn't been fixed. I brought this up months ago but moved on to the DNY512 model. N...

Are Iterations the same?

This is probably a basic question, but are all Iterations the same? What I mean by this is I noticed my iterations slow down the higher my batch size is. For example, a batch size of 1 may produce 60k ITs over 6 hours, however a batch size of 4 of the same model will produce 25k ITs over the same am...

Super Resolution on low quality video

So, I was doing some research and stumbled across this link about super resolution, and taking low res and blurry pics, and artificially sharpening them. https://towardsdatascience.com/deep-learning-based-super-resolution-without-using-a-gan-11c9bb5b6cd5 Is it possible to take a low res video in fac...

Re: [Guide] Introducing - Phaze-A

I'm assuming that answer means, "Yes. Efficienetv2 B0 will work with DNY512, but was designed for smaller models, but scale at 100%.".

😁

Re: [Guide] Introducing - Phaze-A

I'd like a little clarity, please.

Can an encoder like efficienet v2 that doesn't naturally support 512, be forced to output 512?

I was under the impression it can not, but reading @adam_macchiato post (for the umpteenth time 😆) suggests it can.

Is it a fools errand to try?

Weird Checkerboard effect

I started a new model and after about a 100k ITs I'm noticing a weird checkerboard effect on some of the faces. I tried to look it up but the search is returning, 504 gateway errors. I haven't seen this yet and wondering if the model is collapsing? I am using the DNY512, but switched upsample to, su...

"Update Mask" button for individual frames

Is it possible to add a mask update button for individual frames in the manual tool? After reading a discussion it occurred to me if we had an individual button/option to update specific frames it would save a lot of time, instead of asking the program to search the entire video just to update one f...

Is this related to the "duplicate" filter I recently noticed?

Re: Potential VRAM Saving techniques

@couleurs
Wow! Thanks for breaking that down for me! Good stuff!

So to be clear, based on your calculations and table, my learning rate for a batch size of one would be, 1.25e-5, right?

Re: A simple question comparing GPU's

Question:. Are these running in the same machine, or separate rigs? I'm running two 30 series in the same machine and noticing two separate wonky things. 1) Bryan said that a newer version of tensor is combining the memory of the two automatically but using only one GPU to process. 2) I'm also notic...

Bug?

Can someone double check that "exclude GPUs" isn't actually including GPUs. It seems like it's actually including the GPU I'm trying to exclude. Not a big deal of course but thought I'd bring it up. 🙂

Re: Distribution and Multiple GPUS

Wow! Super informative! Thanks!! It just so happens I rebuilt my system over Xmas, with a new motherboard (I blew out my old PCIe lanes installing the 3090 🤦🙄) (Tai chi z690) and a 13900k. So, it's very possible the Intel chip is working like the Ryzen considering the number of multiple cores. I'll ...

Re: Distribution and Multiple GPUS

Thanks for your reply Bryan. Another question though: When I tried to shut off the 3080ti to play a game, the game (Assassin's Creed) was slowing down to 18 fps. It was as if Faceswap wasn't turning off the 3080ti. This brings up a couple questions: Is this due to the tensor flow update you mentione...

I noticed in the recent update DirectML was mentioned/implemented. Is this new? Will it speed up training if I switch to that platform?

Distribution and Multiple GPUS

So, I bought a used 3090 to compliment my 3080ti (so I can do other things while messing around with machine learning.) The idea was to use the 3090 for training, and switching the 3080 off so I can use it for gaming or whatever Faceswap reads there's 36G of memory and I can go from a batch size of ...
