Hello,
I'm new to the forum and hope that someone can answer me.
If Face A has 8000 images, with multiple light sources and 200's of images from every direction including deep side and up and down. Face B has 3400 images with multiple light sources and has fewer sides than Face A. Should I expect convergence?

The only ways to know are to try it or find someone with experience to examine the dataset to give advice. I suggest trying it. Start with a small model until you can learn the processes.
