Post by derbrachialist »

Message from moderator

Adding the bash script from the video for launching faceswap from the desktop here:

Code: Select all

#!/bin/bash
source ~/miniconda3/etc/profile.d/conda.sh
conda activate faceswap
cd ~/faceswap
python faceswap.py gui

Re: [Video Guide] Manjaro Installation Video Tutorial

Post by kalimerox »

Hi there, this is my first post on this forum. I m trying to install faceswap on a manjaro machine (with an amd rx 480 gpu)
and I want to do that alongside to this video, but i find the link contents changed and there fore i wanted to ask; is this still the propriate way to install faceswap on manjaro? or should i just try to go with the general linux install guide here viewtopic.php?f=4&t=68

I tried the last one and it all installed well, then launching faceswap via desktop icon does not work. I see a commandline open for a quarter of a second and that s all of it. Any advice on what i can do on that would be great. Thanks! :)

Post your issue in the linux install thread, so others can see the issue.

The installer is now the correct way. Hopefully the video will get updated

Thanks for this video. It is appreciated. I am removing from stickies though, as the linux install thread has now changed to use a bash installer.

If you happen to update your video, let me know and I can re-pin.
